At the Magnet School of Engineering and Design, PS 44, STEAM learning is taught through a robust, interdisciplinary curriculum focusing on engineering and artistic design.  Students use creative and innovative approaches to purposeful  learning. They learn by doing hands on engineering, robotics, graphic arts, horticulture, architecture and web design projects.
